Archbishop’s Pastoral Visitation to Cathedral Catholic School

On Friday, March 6, the Archbishop carried out his first Pastoral Visitation to schools within the Archdiocese with a visit to Cathedral Catholic School. The visit was both spirit-filled and faith-enriching, bringing together the entire school community in a joyful expression of faith and Catholic identity. During his visit, the Archbishop celebrated Holy Mass, visited classrooms, met with teachers, and toured the school facilities.The administration, teaching and non-teaching staff, alumni, and students warmly welcomed the Archbishop and received the first blessings of this important pastoral initiative. The atmosphere across the campus reflected unity, reverence, and the vibrant spirit of Catholic education.A particularly touching moment came at the end of the visit when the students presented the Archbishop with a “bouquet of prayers,” accompanied by beautiful and poetic words of appreciation. Their heartfelt gesture expressed their love for the Church and their gratitude for the Archbishop’s presence among them.In his remarks, the Archbishop encouraged the students to remain focused on their studies, avoid distractions, and always remember that God is with them at every step of their journey. He also commended the administration, staff, and alumni for their dedication and commitment in making Cathedral Catholic School a safe and welcoming home for students from diverse families.The visit concluded with prayers and blessings for the entire school community as they continue their mission of forming young people in faith, knowledge, and service.
