Archdiocesan Youth Secretariat Strengthens Youth Faith in Kakata Deanery

Event Description

From Friday, January 17 to Sunday, January 19, 2026, the Archdiocesan Youth Secretariat conducted a pastoral visit to the Kakata Deanery, focused on youth evangelization and faith formation. The forum highlighted the importance of the sacraments and the growth of Christian values as the foundation of a strong Catholic youth life. Presentations were delivered by Marcus Isaac Carter, Margaret Calice Mulbah, Mariama Amie Gebeh, and Rev. Fr. Johnny-Clement Kombo, with support from Darius Kragbe, Marthalyn, and William Flomo.Youth from St. Pius, St. Christopher, All Saints, and Mother of Jesus Christ Parishes, along with their outstations, actively participated in the forum. Attendance was estimated at about 85 participants. As part of the pastoral outreach, the youth and facilitators, accompanied by Rev. Fr. Charles N. S. Makara and Rev. Fr. Johnny-Clement Kombo, visited rural communities to pray with them and administer the sacraments.On Sunday, the mission continued with visits to Our Lady of Consolation and Division outstations, where catechesis, prayer, and sacramental ministry were further extended. The pastoral visit strengthened unity among the youth and deepened their understanding of the faith, reaffirming the Church’s commitment to forming young people in Christian living and active discipleship.
